EMFs are common in areas containing powerful electrical equipment and Power Lines. EMF meters are often used in paranormal investigations, however unless the investigator has been fortunate enough to afford a three-axis meter then they are used incorrectly as a single-axis meter has to be turned and tilted on all three axes to produce a correct reading. They were used in the film "Ghostbusters" which is probably why enthusiasts wrongly believe that EMF Meters are Ghost-detecting meters.

Precognition

Precognition is a form of extrasensory perception in which someone predicts future events through paranormal means. Many people believe they have some form of precognitive ability and relate dreams they have had to an event which has happens afterwards.
